A Brief View of Fiscal Activity 2007

Income Tax Division – The Auditor’s office collected $14, 794,585.14. Income tax collection was 76.6% of the collection general fund revenue. Whitehall taxes are due April 15. Electronic versions of income tax forms and code can be found through the Auditor’s drop-down menu.

Payroll and Budgeting tasks are performed efficiently despite workload increases. Managing a $20 million dollar budget is essential to provide analytical support to City departments and City council. The Auditor’s Office is the office-of-record for employee data (payroll records, with-holdings and deductions, vacation, sick, injury, funeral and personal leaves, overtime and compensatory time).

Asset Management and Accountability: The 2006 books have been audited by the State of Ohio Office of Auditor and were found to be in compliance with all state regulations and local governances according to GAAP principles. The 2006 Annual Financial Statement is available to the public.
